Cycling should not be for the elite. In a recent study, 85% of Cork residents support financial discounts for people on low incomes or not in employment to help them buy a cycle.

Just 26% of the people with lower incomes have access to bikes compared to 59% of higher incomes!

I find it weird that newspapers characterize students as being “pro-Palestinian” as opposed to anti whatever you call this.

RSA's support like this for 30km/h towns is great. But we need to see support for all walking and cycling projects that come up against spurious objections and misinformation.
We need to see the paradigm of motor dominance tackled and reversed.
We need real leadership.
