Newport Harbor's largest public dock is now open! The Balboa Marina Public pier, just south of the PCH bridge in West Newport, can accommodate 12 small vessels or several larger ones. The project is a partnership between the City, County of Orange, and Irvine Co.

Applications are now open for the Ackerman Scholarship Program! Students who are graduating high school/transferring to a four-year university in 2024 may apply to receive a $700 scholarship.

The application deadline is Mon., May 6 at 5 p.m.

Officials from the City, County of Orange, Irvine Co & State Assembly celebrated the grand opening of Newport Harbor’s largest public dock on Fri., March 29.

The Balboa Marina Public Pier is officially opened for free public use, for up to 3 hours, and can accommodate several vessels.
