KLA introduced a bill amending the Kansas Farm Animal and Field Crop and Research Protection Act to comply with a recent 10th Circuit ruling. The purpose of the act is to prohibit trespass on these facilities. #KLAattheCapitol

KLA testified in opposition of HB 2541. While KLA supports the aim to create funding for conservation, based on member policy it can't support provisions of the bill supporting use of funds by KDWP to purchase land. #KLAattheCapitol

Dates have been set for the 2023 KLA/Kansas State University Ranch Management Field Days. Mushrush Red Angus will host the first event August 10 in Chase County. The August 17 field day will be held in Thomas County at Carpenter Cattle Company.
