Wishing Roma, Gypsy, Sinti and Traveller communities a very Happy International Romani Day! Diana Blaj
Exciting news for constituents in #Radford & #Wollaton - these brand new pink line electric Nottingham City Transport will be out on the 30 route VERY soon (and other routes too). Brilliant to see the investment in clean, green transport at Trent Bridge Garage. Helping Nottingham be #CN2028
It was great to show Ed Miliband around Amber Valley BC’s new council homes in Kirk Langley. The Labour council’s commitment to providing green homes will save tenants money and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.
If you elect me on May 2nd, these homes are just the beginning.
Strong words from @CllrGC & Michael Payne for Gedling🌹 on the 'begging bowl culture' & lack of skills investment from the government in their flagging Levelling Up agenda.
Graphs in the article show how much more has gone to Tory seats, & how much less to Labour📉

Excellent from Nadia Whittome MP in LeftLion Magazine Nottingham -we need to keep up the campaign on council finances. Selling council assets to pay for social care of our residents isn’t a sustainable solution. Sunak & Gove don’t get it but councils need a better settlement for the future.
'At this time of renewed hope I want to wish #Nottingham a very happy and restful Easter.' David Mellen
Ben ‘3 jobs’ Bradley and his Tory colleagues have failed to secure desperately needed investment in our region’s transport time and again. Why on earth would he be any better as our East Midlands Mayor? On 2nd May I’ll be voting Claire Ward for East Midlands Mayor #VoteLabour
Yesterday the Devolved East Midlands Combined County Authority launched, bringing an extra £4 billion to the region.
#Labour 's Claire Ward for East Midlands Mayor is the candidate to vote for to ensure good paying jobs, more affordable homes and better public transport.

'This is a rare opportunity to transform a polluted, outdated roundabout. so that more consideration, priority and space is given to pedestrians and cyclists, as well as improving the junction for vehicles.' Angela Kandola BEM

Out in the Old Market Square with Cllr Matt Shannon enjoying the St Patrick’s Day parade. Was fantastic to see the Square so busy with people celebrating Irish heritage.
Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona duit!☘️
Happy St Patrick's Day from everyone in Nottingham! A huge thanks to the organising committee, the event at Market Square was great as always.
Now, off to Raglan Road Irish Bar!
