Last week Errol Morris came to the Nieman Foundation to talk to us about his work. Moderating this conversation was surreal (I watched & wrote about his films college!) and exciting and challenging, all at once. Very grateful for this year and for doing things I never imagined doing.

I was happy to represent The Eagle this weekend at the Nieman Foundation Christopher J. Georges Conference on College Journalism. It was great to hear about navigating the industry from career journalists and to present on The Eagle’s Title IX coverage #Georges24 Lydia LoPiccolo
I learned so much at the #georges24 college journalism conference hosted by the @niemanfoundation at Harvard this weekend. We heard from Nieman fellows and met other student newsrooms. I’m so grateful I got to take part and present with Elizabeth Rymarev on behalf of the The Red & Black
Learned so much and met so many inspiring young journalists at #Georges24 this weekend! Thanks to Niemyy and The Harvard Crimson for putting together a truly phenomenal slate of speakers and workshops.

Since Oct. 7, more than 95 reporters have been killed in Gaza according to Committee to Protect Journalists.
That is more journalist fatalities in a conflict zone in 6 months than have occurred in 1 year worldwide since CPJ started keeping the data in 1992.
