Every single plate I owned was chipped and mismatched. Today I bought new plates. Now my kitchen cupboards look so fancy, I’m not quite sure I’ll ever be able to eat off one of them!

In exactly one year I will be flying to New York with my eldest daughter for her 16th. Amongst broadway shows and shopping, we’ll be meeting up with my Twitter bestie Megan Harwood and her family. This is what social media is for. I’m so excited I could burst!

At heart, we’re all still 15 years old, and just want to feel like we fit in. Being accepted by the tribe ensured your evolutionary success, so it’s not strange we’re still hardwired for that inclusion.

Some days my 47 year old ass still wants to stay cuddled in bed in the morning and shout for my mum to bring me coffee. #momsrock

I don’t know who else in the #WritingCommunity knew Chris Taylor- Writer but I have only just found out he lost his battle with cancer 6 months ago. He was funny and kind, I will miss him. Be at peace Chris, love Superglue x

I just pulled a muscle in my back walking across the room. Now I’ve retired to my bed to nurse this injury and my extreme sense of being hard done by! Thank heavens I don’t have a job requiring hard physical labour, as apparently I’m not designed to withstand much.

I noticed over the weekend that a good number of author accounts have unfollowed me. And now my mind is spiralling.
Did I not post about writing enough?
Was it the typos??
Am I just *gasp* *sob* boring????

Submitted my book to Readers Favourite for a review in 2020. Got a message today that my book file didn’t upload. *ahem* That took a while to let me know 😂
Anyway, file uploaded and fingers crossed!

Watched The Holdovers last night and it was great. Now thinking I’ll introduce my girls to Dead Poets Society tonight.

My mom and best friend read the opening chapter of my new book and they both loved it. So, I am feeling vastly encouraged now! Onwards!!

Opened my manuscript planning to write for 10 minutes. An hour and a half later I looked at the clock and couldn’t comprehend where the time had gone! That ‘in the zone’ feeling is the absolute best, right #WritingCommunity

I wish I could live on an aeroplane with around 10 of my favourite people, and all we did was fly around the world together and have adventures.

My daughter’s sports coach asked her if I’m the mom always wearing sweatpants. And now I feel like I can never leave the house again if I’m not wearing a ball gown at the very least!

Today I managed 4 lines of verse, but they fitted nicely into my world building. And I guess words are words, right?

I started writing a new book today. I’ve been too scared to start it, as the idea is so beautiful in my mind, that I’m terrified I won’t do it justice. But after a 2 year hiatus… I’m back, baby!!!

Has anyone on here ever read and done the exercises in The Artist’s Way? I’d be interested to hear about your experience doing it and whether you found it worthwhile.
