it’s crazy how nowadays people who want to disenfranchise some other group of people will put out a press release outlining their absurd views instead of just doing violence.

sometimes I think we need to be harder on people who talk like brand ambassadors and creative directors in public/social settings. Being tolerant of that vibe has just gone too far.

I feel like glow/bloom filters have gone out of fashion recently, maybe because they express too much optimism in an image. Maybe we have come to mistrust those blurred edges and obscured details, the smooth field of color.

Sometimes I think I could write a book of cultural criticism about image effects.

I'm reading book five in the Dune series, and a part of me is wishing that I had stopped with Children of Dune.

I also fixed an earlier bug with this edit display where the sliders would disappear while dragging the values (cc: Chris Coleman ). If you play with it and have ideas for how to make it better, let me know.
