A 12-person jury has been selected for Trump's first criminal trial in New York.

After a flurry of peremptory and for-cause challenges, jury selection progressed in a fast and furious fashion.

An alternate already has been chosen.

The media really needs to quit reporting on so much personally identifiable information in regard to these jurors.

I understand the public interest aspect, but they’re putting people’s safety—and potentially the case—at risk.

After Jesse Watters ran this segment and Trump posted it, this juror asked to be excused because she was concerned about her identity becoming public. Fox & Trump are coordinating to intimidate jurors.

COMMUNITY NOTE: Nope. Like every tweet from Posobiec, this is a lie. The juror wasn’t dismissed, she asked to be excused; she didn’t speak to jurors, she spoke with other *prospective* jurors; she didn’t think them biased, she said they took the situation appropriately seriously.

I can't help but contemplate that jurors are concerned about being publicly identified in a case involving a former president. Typically, you would only see that happen in a case involving violent organized crime.

Any competent lawyer would tell their client that his fate is in the jury’s hands and they will watch everything he does.

Trump’s disrespect for the jury is unwise.
