Another illegal #pushback by #Greek authorities!
This morning, a group of 46 people called us & reported they had been pushed back to Turkish waters by ΛΙΜΕΝΙΚΟ ΣΩΜΑ near #Lesvos . The Turkish Coastguard confirmed they picked them up & transferred them to Küçükkuyu/Çanakkale port.

This morning, ~250 people attempted to jump the fences to #Ceuta . Some made it over but were pushed back to #Morocco by the #GuardiaCivil and handed over to the Moroccan gendarmerie. We demand #Spain to end the illegal and neo-colonial practice of #devolucionesencaliente !

Joint border controls and bilateral deployments are a growing part of #pushback regimes across the #Balkans , and define processes of #externalisation which allow national authorities to engage in violent deterrence beyond their borders.

Illegal mass #pushback to Turkey

Yesterday, we received a distress call from 22 people, left adrift in life rafts near #Samos . We alerted the Turkish Coast Guard who reported a total of 7-8 life rafts with ~100 people in this area, all of whom were pushed back by ΛΙΜΕΝΙΚΟ ΣΩΜΑ.

One person has died and several got injured in a mine field in Croatia. In the area there are several mine fields from the last war. The lack of safe ways to migrate forces people to risk their lives
