Until this year I have never once experienced Easter Sunday on April 9. I began to understand the calendar dates for the holiday in 1995, as a five year old. Yet despite Palm Sunday being April 9 in 1995, 2006 and 2017, it’s never before fallen on Easter Sunday in my lifetime🐣

In a month’s time our family film (Because We Have Each Other) will have its North American premiere at the Hot Docs festival in Toronto!! I’m very pleased to say that I’m going to be there for the first screening on April 30!

Today we went to Australia Zoo and even got to have some birthday cupcakes (as baby Grace Warrior turned 2). It sure was very busy there for the celebration, yet it’s important to again accustom myself to places like this for when I visit Disneyland next month✨

Last night we attended the closing gala of the Brisbane International Film Festival, and we enjoyed watching “Sweet As”! Arenamedia also produced our own film, and our screening in Warwick was a great success. In the country town, 104 guests came to the small cinema to see us🥰

This week I attended two screenings of our film at BIFF (I chose to wear my bowler hat at the Brisbane premiere last Sunday). Tomorrow there will be another screening of “Because We Have Each Other” in Warwick, Queensland🎬

Later on this month we will have our Brisbane premiere on October the 30th (at the Powerhouse), and early next month (on November the 3rd) we will have another screening at Dendy Portside!😊

Yesterday our family film “Because We Have Each Other” premiered at the Forum in Melbourne! It was incredible that well over 400 guests came to see us, and the theatre was just about full! Throughout the remainder of the MIFF there will be 12 other showings across Victoria :

Today I broke my glasses, and at this moment I desperately wish that I were a wizard, and that this was a real spell that actually worked!
Yet luckily my new glasses are currently being made and I’m set to get them very soon!

I just got the results from a WAIS test that I did. My overall IQ is 121 but there’re different scores for each area. For social skills I’m well below 60 but for the other parts I got scores from 105-140. Also OT has been suggested as I was very distracted by noise in the room.

In French class we spoke, listened to dialogue and read about a very relevant topic, human memory! Also Daisy (the puppy I recently uploaded a photo of) now has a partner in crime, Poppy. As this picture suggests, she absolutely loves her squeaky toys!🐾🐾

I’ve spent the past few weeks keeping busy with an even mixture of exciting projects and challenging experiences. Writing, doing artwork and learning languages is a great way to ground my mind; and while I was reading a French library book I found this lucky artefact inside 🍀✨

I was recently asked to create an artwork about what HSAM visually is to me. One of the research labs conducting a study on me and a few others (at the University of Queensland) liked this so much that they are making it into a poster for their office. This was so kind of them💖
