The new ASI dig at Rakhigarhi is throwing up some amazing finds from early, mature and late Harappan periods. Some are multi-storey buildings. These are just from a small area; there still are huge unexplored mounds. 1/n

Our paper on nucleosome repositioning in breast cancer is now published in Clinical Epigenetics! …lepigeneticsjournal.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…
▶️Nucleosome gain marks deregulated TFs
▶️Shorter distances between nucleosomes in cancer
▶️NRL affected by gene expression, methylation, H1 histones, repeats

I read somewhere that the oldest text, Rigveda, has many 'loan' words associated with other families of languages, suggesting that even in the Bronze Age/Iron Age, we had diversity. Genetics also seem to indicate the same.

Through multiscale simulations and lattice modeling, we show how phase-rich and phase-sensitive lipid membrane could have served as matrix for organization of mononucleotides and possibly “catalyse” the formation of oligonucleotides in the origins of life.

Vitamin D deficiency is being over-diagnosed: the “normal range” is set too high

Latest India data among healthy people show that if these levels are used, then 98% will be “insufficient or deficient”

TLDR: The reference range has to be customised for India. See slide.
