Notre Dame de Lorette: French National Memorial and the largest French Great War Cemetery.

This was also an opportunity to visit the 'Ring of Remembrance', the new international memorial commemorating 579,606 men of all nationalities who fell in this area.

Thiepval Memorial to the Missing. This memorial commemorates 72,000 missing soldiers from the British Isles and South Africa, lost in this area during the 1916-1917 battle of the Somme.
