I was skeptical this day would ever come. The butt-chomping & stonewalling from the B.C. was endless & helped push the price tag of stratospheric. John Horgan, Liz May, Dave Suzuki & Co. can share the credit for many of the hurdles this project faced.

Firmer price and wage pressures in ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ could lead longer-term rates to RISE as investors continue paring back expectations of cuts. Meanwhile, plenty of talk in ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ about a weakening economy & looming rate cuts. ๐Ÿค”

Yep, let's build apartment blocks in our B.C. cities with no requirements for parking. On-street parking in these neighborhoods will become battle-zones. And visitors? They will either have to park on someone's front lawn or stick their cars 'where the sun don't shine.' ๐Ÿ™„

I just heard on CBC Radio 06:00 World Report that the B.C. govt is going to formally ask Ottawa for an exemption for its doctors from Ottawa's new cap gains tax on the 'wealthy.' The Ottawa Libs seem to forget how many people in this province DO NOT have a family doctor. ๐Ÿ˜

Homebuyers shun new real estate in Vancouver. Politicians are desperate for developers in to build more homes to alleviate pressure in one of the continentโ€™s most expensive markets. Thereโ€™s just one problem โ€” not enough buyers are showing up. vancouversun.com/real-estate/hoโ€ฆ

Similar story in B.C. for folks who bought small apartments that were used for vacation rentals on Airbnb. Now those units are worth less as permanent rentals so values are dropping. Some may be suitable as homeowner units but many current owners will take haircuts.

'Electric vehicle prices have pushed the cars out of reach of many consumers.' Isn't that part of the 2035 plan? Private vehicles for the wealthy only? Less traffic & more public transit? Lower parking req'ts in new housing? Getting an e-bike soon?

Dumbest post of the year (so far) or hitting the nail right on the head? For many, more = more rules from poke-nose govts. But Communism? ๐Ÿค”

Another MP parroting the scripts cooked up by Katie Telford & her minions at the PMO. This mudslinging will grow increasingly shrill (& tiresome) as the 2025 election approaches. ๐Ÿ™„
