iPhone : If we regulate prices,we can finally funnel much more resources into MASS TESTING &PPEs.

We are lagging behind on testing at 8,000 instead of 32,000 a day.

We have 4 times the number of average health worker infections in theWestPacific region.

We need to form that board NOW.

iPhone : If we want to make it through this pandemic, we need to move fast & make all our resources count.

This way we can maximize resources for COVID testing & PPEs.

iPhone : Government should upgrade financial aid to displaced OFWs under DOLE-AKAP & Balik-Manggagawa programs.

Many families, incl OFWs who are stuck abroad w/ no job, continue to need financial assistance to feed their families, esp na ang daming OFW na uuwi sa mga susunod na linggo.

iPhone : We should also offer retraining programs for OFWs for specified skill sets such as seafaring or professions in agri-business & other promising industries.

iPhone : 300,000-400,000 OFWs will lose their livelihood if govt doesn't take decisive action.

This will leave thousands of Filipino families w/ no source of income to put food on the table.
A full-blown labor crisis will complicate our recovery from the pandemic.

My recommendations:

iPhone : Some senators weighed in on the opening of classes in August after President Rodrigo Duterte himself opposed the resumption of “face-to-face” classes without a vaccine to treat COVID-19. | Christia Ramos newsinfo.inquirer.net/1281153/senato…

iPhone : Safety first para sa mga bata. Bilang Mama, I can't imagine risking the life & health of our children.

We have to postpone the opening of classes as we think of alternative infrastructures for home-based learning.

I filed Senate Bill No. 863 to address this problem.

iPhone : The govt must already draft & implement a comprehensive reintegration plan.Once countries ease their lockdowns,OFWs who are fit to work must be assisted back. For those who aren't able,we need to bridge them to local jobs.

OFW reintegration should be part of our recovery plan.

iPhone : ...through the DOLE-AKAP & Balik-Manggagawa assistance programs.

We need to extend & widen the financial aid available to them…

Eid Mubarak! to our Muslim sisters & brothers.

iPhone : We are actively seeking ways to push for the rehabilitation of Marawi through consultations w/ government agencies & partnerships with civil society organizations.

We need to bring them home. COVID-19 will prolong, but should never overshadow, this.
