There is no need to panic yet about the CeeDee Lamb situation.

But there is reason to be upset about how the Cowboys continue to find themselves with poor/no leverage in contract negotiations.

Next I bet they decide to take one of their shows and turn a handful of the episodes into one longer program that they release in places where audiences can gather to see it.

Maybe that place will have snacks like popcorn and candy.

The Dallas Cowboys are playing a very stupid game with the contractual situations surrounding CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott (and to a lesser degree Micah Parsons).

I would 100% criticize them for not getting deals done with their receivers if they also had a history of not being proactive with their most important players.

The Cowboys are also *actively* not being proactive with Micah Parsons and playing a stupid game with Dak Prescott.

A reminder that CeeDee is coming off of literally the most statistically successful season that any wide receiver has ever had in Dallas Cowboys franchise history.

To be clear this is not worth panicking over.

But it is certainly not ideal. Get it done. This isn't complicated.

And then the Cowboys blame their family at home, where they live, dog for eating the assignment just to get an extension on the assignment and still wind up paying more after the fact

The Eagles were early on an extension?

And will benefit from doing it now instead of waiting?

All while the Cowboys have a better player who also needs to get paid?

Well this is totally shocking and not at all normal or expected or frustrating
