I’m deeply worried that Labour are willing to accept anyone into their party. This smacks of a party with no principles and no concrete guiding philosophy. Natalie Elphicke isn’t even centre-right, she’s right-wing!

Me: Hoping that Labour will offer a radical social democratic alternative.

It’s difficult to see how Labour would advance genuine social democracy when it’s promoting Cameronites and former Tory MPs as the warm-up acts for their speeches on the economy.

These results were clear: across the country lifelong Conservatives are turning to the Liberal Democrats because we don't take them for granted, we speak to their concerns and we offer a Fair Deal for them and their communities.

Lib Dems pushing Tories into 3rd place is surely the story of this election…? Maybe the reason it’s not being told is that too many commentators would have to accept that they have gallons of egg on their face…

At 22:23 Libdems second largest party, with over 500 Cllrs and gains of over 100!

Tories have lost almost half their Cllrs defending.

Liberal Democrats gain Dorset & Tunbridge Wells.

Also Labour only up 173 Cllrs.

One way to address voter apathy…

Change the voting system.

Turn out is getting lower & lower because people don’t feel their vote is worth anything.

A change to PR will give people the knowledge their vote lasts longer and means something.

And can vote for who they WANT to.
