This morning I submitted the book manuscript for my ethnography of English Benedictine monastic life. There's a way to go - reviews, corrections, I hope to get more input & feedback from the monastic community - but the completion of this project, a long time coming, is in sight.

Alastair McIntosh john milbank Richard Frazer That's interesting to learn - the St Magnus Way was launched in 2017 (900th anniversary of his martyrdom) and the Fife pilgrim way in 2019 so I had a vague sense of there being a surge in that period of time but hadn't known there was a grounding for it at the General Assembly
