Far too many people in Jamaica are proud to live/die by their own version of 'truth', being defiant in the face of 'facts'...there was a time people would see 'facts' as their opportunity to learn, but now 'truth' is what they defend over 'facts', even if it makes them look dunce

'You've got to put limits on what you give because takers will never put limits on what they take' Lots of takers don't think all they do is take, somewhere in their minds is a belief they gave you something and simply decided to reclaim it..don't ever let misery be your friend

One of my fundamental flaws:
I meet people and take them for who they say they are, many times when I see certain character/personality flaws early, I still allow room for understanding...after all, we are all flawed...but it takes too long for me to admit they're full of shit

People will sell a story of who they are, what they stand on, what their principles are, what they expect/demand of others...what matters is when they are put to the test to prove if actions match words...but even a broken clock thinks it works well and gives you the best time

At a time when I'm contemplating life/death of a brother, I must say how disturbing it was getting an account some people at an accident site involving a hearse..at war with a fireman who asked for discretion re family while making videos...'we have the right to do it'....wow man

Sometimes life throws some really difficult challenges at you, not necessarily for your own strength and resolve to withstand them, but the ability to find it for others...even when you need so much of it for yourself at the time

Be a good friend with a listening ear, even if you can't find one who listens in return..offer good cheer to those in the dark, even if they don't share their light with you, understand some people will take all you have to offer with little or no gratitude
