The vote in the US Chamber of Representatives is a major step in support of 🇺🇦 Ukraine for resisting the Russian illegal agression. The EU 🇪🇺and the US 🇺🇸should continue their strong support for Ukraine in its fight for freedom.

At this special #EUCO 🇪🇺, our focus will be on major current topics: economy and competitiveness, the latest developments in Ukraine🇺🇦, the EU-Türkiye relations, and the situation in the #MiddleEast , following Iran’s drone and missile attack against Israel.

At extraordinary #FAC on #MiddleEast situation, I condemned Iranian attacks against 🇮🇱& expressed solidarity with Israeli people. Reiterated concerns over Iran’s destabilizing actions & called for de-escalation and restraint. Coordination with US, UK&regional partners is crucial.

I just had a substantial discussion with #NATO SecGen Jens Stoltenberg, focusing on the security situation in Ukraine and in the #BlackSea . Romania has strongly supported Ukraine from day one and we will continue resolutely.

Romania condemns in the strongest terms the attack of Iran against Israel. We stand in full solidarity with the Israeli people in these difficult moments. We call for avoiding further regional escalation.
