My thought for the day is it’s best to ignore rabid MAGAs. End the conversation when they can’t stick to the point or engage in whataboutism — and ignore the “this is blowing liberal minds” posters completely. The things they think blow our minds? Usually yawn-worthy.

Nights out are a rarity these days. I got used to staying home and got a dog I hate to leave by himself. Tonight, I left my corner of the sofa and went to the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. Probably good for me.

My father can’t have surgery to remove the cancerous mass from his liver because he has cirrhosis. Doctors fear surgery could do more harm than good. This is a man who never drinks, so we’re at a loss. Instead, they’re going to do radioactive beads. Watch your liver, folks.

The love of my life, furry version.

My dad was just diagnosed with liver cancer. We are at the doctor today to discuss treatment options/next steps. I’m devastated, but also realize he’s 88 and I’m fortunate that he’s mentally sharp and physically strong. We will get through this.

The Eagles were fantastic last night. Just incredible harmonies and musicianship. Seeing Steely Dan do a 12-song opening set was the icing on the cake!
