People like to act cooler than greatest hits albums but I got started with the Allman Brothers that way (thanks to Columbia House) and moved to Peaches and then the Dreams box set and I don’t know if there is a better way to fall in love with a band than that 1-2-3.

One of my favorite bands of all time, and when I would see them live (with Dickey in the 90s) I would think, maybe they're my #1? Every song, every guitar lick, every piano stroke. Dickey left us an incredible catalog of music that will live on. RIP.

Wow, looked at the mail after the Wings got eliminated and there was an invitation for my 25th reunion…from college. The hits keep coming.

Truth is that the Wings collapsed at the end of the season, made a weak playoff push until this week and gave up so many soft goals. Above all that, I don’t want a coach who is content on not making the playoffs and spinning that for weeks. Lalonde should go.
