Random Musings This Week Ah, because there's a difference between having a couple of official government docs mixed in with lots of papers, and boxes and boxes missing. NARA asked for those records from Trump b/c things were clearly missing from what was handed over and he didn't deposit it all.

Random Musings This Week Because it was discovered that he potentially had docs, was asked for them, over the course of a year. Lied, had his lawyers lie, and got himself a search. 🤷‍♀️ it’s how our system works when dealing with criminals.

Molly Random Musings This Week That can't be understated. The National Archives gave him the benefit of the doubt over and over, he had so many opportunities to make this go away before it became an issue. This wasn't a witch hunt.

Random Musings This Week Investigators knew there were tons of documents missing. In a new Trump had them. The other cases were just accidental discoveries. See the difference?

@BuddhaWorship Random Musings This Week Too much of a coincidence that those garage docs showed up so quickly. Someone on a “special protective detail” planted those AND then tipped others where to look.
