Section 28 was terrible. My education was spent under it too, and yet I had friends that were gay and knew it from a young age. Everyone else I knew accepted it, the system and some high profile adults vilified it.

This was repealed only 24 years ago. It lasted way too long.

I wonder if we'll ever get anything as good as OMXplayer on the pi again. VLC (much as I love it) just doesn't cut it.

I believe this footage is from a test (ie free!) event before it opened to the public properly.

Nothing looks too bad - and certainly not inherently “dangerous” - for a temporary event, but the public areas shouldn’t look like this of course.

The new Geospy is seriously impressive, but I don't like the confidence in its answers when it gets it wrong.

Same. The M1 MBP is the best I’ve owned and - in some ways - probably (for Apple) one of the worst they’ve made, because there’s literally nothing that’s inspired me to buy a new one whereas I used to regularly upgrade them.

This is ridiculous but at least, unlike Highland Council, they’ve left the trunk roads and through routes alone!

Wonder if they’ll be ignored in Glasgow as they are up here or if - since it’s a bit more proportionate - there’ll be a higher level of compliance

Intersting (and surprising) Honeywell MK Electric specifically state none of their sockets are suitable for use with an EV “granny charger” — and I always considered Logic Plus amongst the best.

It’s strange they can run a 3kW heater for hours on end but not a 10A car charger!
