Hundreds of kites soared high above Zilker Metropolitan Park on Sunday for the annual ABC Kite Fest! 🪁 Having joined in this tradition, we celebrated the nation's oldest kite festival, embracing the joy of flight and community.

John Biggers would have been 100 years old today. He was an artist & educator who inspired Houston with African-inspired murals.

His murals can be found at Tom Bass Community Center, Hester House, and Downtown, while the bus in his honor can be seen on Precinct One streets!
