Request: Can Congress please just change the name of the Administrative Procedure Act to the Administrative ProcedureS Act, plural? That's what basically everyone calls it anyway, including members of Congress. Thanks - RT

Two years ago, Joël van Houdt and I traveled for The Wall Street Journal to the front lines of the war in Yemen, where we came under fire from Iran-backed Houthi forces. The Houthis are now at epicenter of the regional war. I'm proud to have worked to keep the oft-overlooked war in the public eye.

I’m not there any more, but I can say this with confidence: It’s difficult to understate the negative impact on morale at the WSJ as loyal and talented colleagues continue to be shown the door.

Get shot at, blown up and unjustly detained because you do your job well and go where others won’t.

Cover war like a champ because you know your stuff.

Break news regularly because you’re well-sourced.

And then get laid off.

WSJ DC layoffs are devastating. So much talent gone, including both people on my old tech policy beat.

But letting go of Brody Mullins seems particularly foolish. Brody is the best reporter I've worked with. He's not on Twitter, you know his byline though. One of the best.
