MTA is calling on Gov Hochul to upgrade toll evasion violations to a “theft of service.” FYI, subway fare evasion is already considered a “theft of service.” Evading a toll is not. “It makes no sense,” Board member Chu says. Comes with higher penalties and ability to seize cars.

Lucky day, first an R211, then I caught an R211T. The subway gods are smiling on me today.

Running the R211T on the local track and not the express was a safety choice and had nothing to do with a design flaw, I don’t care what the memo said.
