Spot-on. I don't think FA Cup replays should be sacred. Financially they *can* be a game-changer for a smaller club, but rarely. Football-wise they feel like a relic. If this change took place in isolation, it would be easy to shrug off.
BUT ... you can't see the scrapping of FA…

I wonder if the FA Cup decision is going to trigger change for good. There appears to be a lot of anger among fans and clubs are now making statements. It’s about time the EFL stood up to the PL…I suspect it’s going to get political soon with the GE on the horizon.
