On their visit to #NationalWarMemorial , USA Army War College delegation led by Dr Patrick Bratton was provided guided tour. The delegation was impressed & appreciated the #conceptual design of the #Memorial built in the honour of #fallen #soldiers of #IndianArmedForces .

With deep reverence & profound respect, tribute to our valiant #Immortals Ptr Baldev Raj, #ShauryaChakra (P) & L/Nk P S Gurjar, #SenaMedal (P), from #6PARA who fought valiantly and made supreme sacrifice #OnThisDay at two different locations in Pulwama Sector, J&K in year 1998.

A homage ceremony in the honour of fallen soldiers was organised at #NationalWarMemorial in which Lt Gen AK Samantara, DG Infantry alongwith serving & veteran officers with their families from #25MADRAS paid floral tribute to the Bravehearts of the battalion on the Honour Walls.

#OnThisDay Naik Shish Pal Singh, MVC (P), #2JAT , led a daring attack on point 3831 in Rajouri Sector in #1948War . During the attack, lobbing grenades he seized the red hot barrel of enemy machine gun & bayoneted 3 enemy soldiers. Homage to the gallant hero on his #BalidanDiwas .
