I was discussing this pattern on IPR yesterday, that many state GOP legislatures are passing anti-abortion policies that are not in line with popular opinion on the issue (including Iowa).

Unlike civil cases, Trump cannot come and go as he pleases during his criminal proceedings. He will be required to be in the courtroom every day, all day, for the length of the trial.
