Densantis at the debate:
'We will be energy dominant again in this country. I showed it could be done in the state of Florida.'

Florida produces 2k barrels a day of oil. It produces less oil than Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana and Nebraska. It also doesn't allow offshore drilling.

This week, the Dept of Interior published new guidelines for $660 million of that money, which will require states to track methane and groundwater pollution from the wells.

But an association repping most of the states says the DOI doesn't have the authority to do that

Congress in 2021 agreed to spend $4.7 billion to help states plug orphaned oil and gas wells. 26 states got initial, $25 million grants last year to start doing the work.
Then the logistical problems began. My latest:
