The piece focuses on whether Jews continue to find affinity with J St. I think the crisis facing J St is actually much graver: as a peace org, when you won't use political capital to stop a war, who are you?

Imagine the chutzpah of saying this line when Gaza is *actually* under siege, starving to death with no water, electricity, or medicine.

Six months ago, this was my reaction upon waking up to the news. I could have given more space to Hamas’s victims, and maybe I should have. But I was clear-eyed about what was about to happen, which is more than pretty much any liberal Zionist can say. They should reflect on why.

You unite on hostage release yet you differ on what? Starving 2.3 million civilians, displacement of 1.9 million, 13K+ dead kids?

NYT on the Israeli claim that not a single civilian was killed in its assault on Al-Shifa Hospital:

Al Shifa Hospital constituted 30% of the capacity of the health system in the Gaza Strip. The Israelis have blown up or torched all its buildings to ensure that it is irreprable and needs to be rebuilt from scratch. The aim was and remains making Gaza uninhabitable. Genocide

It is a faithless world that allows this vicious depravity for six months, sending the machinery and mobilizing diplomatic support so the Israelis can kill and maim a civilian population at this scale.
