One of the interesting findings in this project: Our attempts at AI analysis really failed — the students ended up having to reprocess all the speeches by hand. A great reminder that 1) AI still has real limits and 2) sometimes you just have to roll up your sleeves.

I’ve been in a phone call for about 20 minutes and have been watching this group of about a dozen workers fixing the Green Line tracks. I have only seen 3 of them do any actual work during that time. (One guy welding; two guys watching him weld). ⁦MBTA⁩ efficiency!
