A day after Human Rights Watch released its annual world report , I spoke with the organization's acting executive director Tirana Hassan about its contents and what she hopes it will achieve.
#Ethiopia ’s rights landscape in 2022 was defined by:
▶️Armed conflict & violence in several regions;
▶️20 mill ppl needing humanitarian aid;
▶️Hostile reporting environment;
▶️Widespread impunity for war crimes & abuses
