Sad this is such an underwhelming end to one of the greatest #LFC eras under Klopp. But it’s a wake up call that we need to be more systematic and less emotional to compete and win on a regular basis.

It’s amazing that anybody at City cares what #LFC or any club says about them. It almost feels like deep down they can see the disconnect between the size of the club and what it has achieved. Culture can’t be manufactured - there are just some things money can’t buy.

The beautiful irony in the fallout is that for a very long time any 50/50 call under Paul Tierney seems to have gone against us. If he has made a mistake it’s genuine and 99 times out of 100 nobody will care. Maybe don’t lost possession by your own box more relevant. #LFC .

It’s not like Tierney gave a dodgy penalty or free kick. Or there was anything wrong with the goal. He gave us possession in our own box. How that can equate to a monumental error is absolutely bananas. Maybe he thought Kelleher was fouled? Blown out of all proportion. #LFC .

Monumental? That’s chalking off a perfectly valid goal for no reason. A dropped ball that resulted in a goal at least 3-4 passages of play later is not monumental. Especially as the referee made the same ‘mistake’ in favour of Forest in the first half. #LFC .

The worst thing about this is almost every other fan base will spout the same nonsense. They don’t give a shit about how City win, as long as it’s not us. You can’t manufacture what makes #LFC special to its supporters - that seems to irk the football world.

Imagine every club hires a ‘referee analyst’ - it’d be carnage. How can you be objective when a club is paying your wages?
