Students' perspectives on how to form 3D figures (tetrahedron, hexahedron, and octahedron) enlighten me. I asked different groups to share their discovery, method, and strategies with the class. #MathSupport is thinking outside of the box!

Today, Ss moved on to creating 3D figures using the same loop of yarn they used for making 2D shapes. #Geometry figures are all around us, especially in buildings, in packaging, & in nature! Ss are tasked to bring photos or actual polyhedron packaging to class to see its net.

Today, in Math Support, we built shapes and convinced the Skeptic by using each shape's characteristics--parallel sides, right angles, equal sides, etc. #YouCubed #Math . Period 2 students enjoyed the start of the #Eclipse2024 via pinhole method while we were outside!
