Today was a culmination of a fabulous interdisciplinary PBL w/ a Renaissance Faire! Ss did a deep dive into how the Renaissance shaped the world as we know it & across MANY different categories the students explored their curiosities with a project of their choice. #PBL #makered

I look at the new flavors of lesson plan templates, and I'm amazed at how complicated so many of them are.

Simple structures for complex work.

The old-fashioned developmental lesson plan, when coupled with a thoughtful unit plan really works.

This post is getting a lot of traction. I am not surprised. The over-hype about mundane tech use - note taking, worksheets, slideshows was bound to create a backlash. Tech used for creative/constructive projects - like programming, video editing, creative writing is NOT THE SAME.
