This week the Justice Committee studied Bill 157 which is supposed to improve access to justice in Ontario, all while the AG is stacking the committee that appoints judges with people who used to work in the Premiers office.

On Jan. 25, a fire destroyed the school in Eabametoong. This education centre belongs to the 300 young people who attend up to grade 9.

I’m sharing because governments need to work with Eabametoong to get these students back on their learning journey.

Last week the NAN Chiefs of 49 First Nations, including most of Kiiwetinoong declared a state of emergency as abnormally warm temperatures are making winter roads unpassable for deliveries of essential supplies.

'We have more kids dying by suicide than going to and graduating high school, or going off to college or doing any normal things that a youth would do,' Siigwan said in her speech.
