in 1979 my mum died. She was born in Istanbul and lived in Rwanda, Brazil, Italy, Russia, Uruguay, Senegal, the Netherlands (including during World War 2) and died in the USA. She studied law at Leiden and loved gardening and speaking to people in different languages.
