It warms my heart to see all the tributes and kind words about JD, someone so universally loved and respected. Sad day for us all who knew him and called him our friend. We need more people like JD in the world.

So sad to hear of the passing of a true NASCAR legend, David Pearson, one the greatest drivers to ever get behind the wheel. Rest In Peace, Silver Fox. You will be missed but not forgotten.
