When someone invalidates your emotions, there are three phrases to use:

“This is how I felt”

In the Garden of Gethsemane and when Jesus hung from the cross and bled for our sins, He cried out to His Abba. Another word for Abba would be “Daddy.”

No matter how dark life has gotten, it is never too late to cry out to your Abba.
