150 First & Second Years sat UK Maths Trust’s Junior Challenge. The national competition makes pupils use their in a different way.

8 students achieved a Gold award, 41 got Silver & 45 attained Bronze. Well done to Zak Barkatali who got the ‘Best in School'.

Year 4 had a lovely day working with local artist Isobel Pickup. Isobel works primarily with & her sessions had the children working on pieces that fitted in with their Science topic ‘Animals & Their Habitats’. The children were very focussed & produced some lovely work

Thirty Lower Sixth students enjoyed tackling practical experiments as part of the Royal Society of Chemistry Schools’ Analyst Competition.

Three Year 2 children were invited to a Masterclass where they were encouraged to think strategically, spot patterns and ask complex questions whilst completing some challenging investigations.

Second Years Anabelle Whereat & Lucy Barker were delighted to win the Greater Manchester County Development Division with their U13 Tameside Netball Clb teammates.

Following some strong performances they qualified for the final in which they defeated Rochdale Netball Club 33-29.

Year 6 were delighted to practise their French oral skills with Louis, the Senior School’s Assistant.
