The great NHS whistleblowing scandal is being exposed

I love the authentic reaction of this GB News journalist when he hears the excellent Peter Duffy explain what happens to NHS staff that try to do the right thing.

I believe psychiatric medications need to be used judiciously - in acute crisis, last resort, and only as a temporary measure if at all possible.

Is our ECT survey attracting a sample biased towards those with strong feelings? Probably, but it might tell us how many people feel it “saved my life” vs how many feel it “damaged my life”, which could be important. But we acknowledge this probable bias towards the two extremes

The incredible wave of The Telegraph articles on the scandal of how NHS whistleblowers are crushed and serious issues covered up is just the beginning.

We will publish Journey of Injustice, part one of five volumes on Monday. Your evidence is so powerful that It has reduced me to tears reading it. This is the largest piece of work we have ever undertaken, and this is just the first report

The reason WHO + UN have jointly called for a move away from the biomedical model approach is because of the lack of evidence for genetic causes of mental illness.

We need an approach that understands the role of toxic stress in our development + body’s ability to be regulated.

For some, the memory loss diminishes with time. Best estimates of ‘persistent/permanent memory loss’ range from 12% (Sackheim, H., 2007) to 55% (Rose, D. 2003); even higher in women and older people. Manufacturer of ECT machines lists ‘brain damage’ as a side effect.

I wish I could tell my 12 year old self what I know now about SSRIs. I see a numb stranger lost behind medication & gender dysphoria. Like climbing a mountain, coming off medications has been a challenging but beautiful, rewarding journey. The view at the top is worth it
