The best film by a country mile coming out of 2024 Berlinale has to be CROSSING by Levan Akin. Beautiful, emotional, true cinema. Seek it out

I just watched ' #Ammonite ' by Francis Lee, which must be one of the most beautiful movies I've seen in quite a while, emotionally and for sure visually. Thank you Mr Lee Francis Lee for being such a unique voice in #queercinema .

Finally watched Francis Lee ‘Ammonite’ last night. Did not disappoint. An elemental film to sink into. Period setting, almost a two-hander between two extremely good actors - Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan, and the slow excavation of queer friendship and, ultimately, love.

What Francis Lee achieved here is a delicate potrayal of a woman whose harsh exterior was merely a shield from pain and loss. For us, more a study on isolation than a romance, and one of Kate's best performances ever.

I loved this film a lot.
