What a day to choose to lay roads on NH44. With a long weekend and thousands of vehicles expected, NH authorities have chosen to lay roads blocking one side of the road. Result - Massive traffic jam from Dharmapuri to Bangalore.

Not a drop of water till 6 am this morning and this is the state right now. Without addressing the Buckingham canal encroachment and widening of it, sadly the residents will have to face this music very often on ECR. Water continues to rise after 12 hours after the rain.
