Early modernists of BOS/New England: Join the Seminar on Women, Gender, and Culture in the Early Modern World Mahindra Humanities Center at Harvard on Feb 29 at 5:30pm as we host Dr. Alisha Rankin speaking on 'A Useless Sack of Bones': Old Women as Medical and Political Agents in Early Modern Europe.'
The oddest NYT feature. So much NYT stuff is bad but this just seemed like a stunning display of out-of-touchness. I sorely missed @wesley_morris's voice. Only Tressie McMillan Cottom's pick, and reasoning, really hit for me. nytimes.com/interactive/20…

Great to see Galatea, part of the Brighton Festival, tonight. A beautiful, moving production. Big congrats to Andy Kesson (amazing to see it come to life after hearing about it from Andy in the pub months back!) and to the very talented Richard P. Peralta and all the cast and team.
Really enjoyed #Galatea - imaginative, thought-provoking and strikingly performed. Yes, it was cold - so wrap up warm, but do go! Brighton Festival #BrightonFestival Emma Frankland Andy Kesson
What a fantastic night out at the theatre. Immersive, challenging and oh so much fun. Thank you Andy Kesson for your work on this truly original production of Galatea Brighton Festival -- runs for a few more days!
What better location for Emma Frankland’s explosively inventive Galatea, which cracks open Lyly’s play and rebuilds it in 2023. Bravo! Brighton Festival @marlboroughprod Andy Kesson
LAST CHANCE to see Galatea this weekend! Dynamic and genre-defying -don't miss this radical revival of early-modern theatre’s best-kept secret.
