I just learned that IDH1 mutated, ATRX mutated WHO IV glioma is no longer called glioblastoma, but rather Astrocytoma, IDH-mutant, WHO grade IV. The IDH wild-type, WHO IV gliomas are still called glioblastoma.

Oligodendroglioma reclassified to astrocytoma and vice versa in our archived cases. Both tumor types have typical ATRX/ P53 immuno singatures that can help prevent unnecessary 1p/19q codel FISH testing (100$ out-of-pocket cost in🇵🇰).
