Current situation at Parklands First avenue.

For nearly three weeks the manhole at the junction of Parklands/Shivachi Road in Parklands has been overflowing with raw sewage creating a health hazard right outside MP Shah Hospital and streaming down past the entrance of Parklands Police Station.

Kibagare river, a tributary of Mathare river that flows through Spring valley and Parklands, has faced alot of encroachment.

The river has been canalized between Brookside drive, Oshwal and 1st Parklands. Interference with hydrological paths will keep causing floods like this.

Community is at the core of every African. The undying urge to take on a challenge head on for the greater good of the people.
