Remembering An tÓglach Jim Murphy, South Fermanagh Battalion, Óglaigh na hÉireann and Sinn Féin activist on his 50th anniversary.

A 42 yr old from Derrylea, Derrylin, he was murdered by two UDR/UVF men at his garage. He had been interned from November 1959-March 1960.

David Johnston - 27th April 1961

SEFF remembers David Johnston today on his anniversary. David died on 27th April 1961, then aged just 27 years.

Tragically he was shot by mistake in a misunderstanding by Officers guarding a Bridge near Derrylin.
