Another fantastic Guy Fawkes Night organised by the Schomberg Society in Kilkeel last night. A children’s lantern parade was followed by fireworks, fire breathers and all kinds of Ulster-Scots culture going on. A great night for family. Well done to the organisers.👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧

Today we remember Capt Gordon Hanna, 3 UDR, 29th November 1985.

14th UDR Officer killed. He was killed when an IRA bomb exploded under his car as he drove away from his home in Harbour Drive, Kilkeel. He died in the ambulance.

Today we visited 'Kilkeel Portal Tomb' (also known as the 'Crawtree Stone', Kilkeel, Co. Down, N. Ireland. It incorporated into a much more recent field boundary & is about 50m walk from Asda's Car Park off the main street! 📷 My own (More photos & link in replies).

Naomi Graham from Annalong, County Down, was attending a youth club in Kilkeel in February when she collapsed.
Parents Ruth and Gareth Graham rushed to the youth club and took Naomi in a car to Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry.

SEFF remembers Kenneth Graham who was murdered by Provisional IRA terrorists on 27th April 1990.

Kenneth was a 46-year-old Protestant civilian, married with two children and a director who was from Newry Road, Kilkeel.
