The Black Bull pub at Horsforth, Leeds was known to exist in 1834. In 1654 Walter Stanhope whose father was part owner of Kirkstall Abbey built a cottage here.
By 1758 John Lapish opened a brewhouse here which eventually became a public house. /1

I led a group of #UoL students for a visit to Kirkstall 275/132kV substation hosted by #NorthernPowergrid . It is an 'electrically' authentic experience for students though strictly warned about electrocution. I have asked them to write a reflection in #PebblePad . They love it.

Hey Leeds Council News think its time Kirkstall Leisure Centre was shown some attention, it is next level disgusting in here. Toilets not fixed since March in changing rooms. Stinks. The whole place needs a deep clean 🤢
